Coca-Cola Water Taking Petition
The Coca-Cola Company is one of the world’s leading producers of bottled water. In North America, their bottling company, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., sets up plants in cities and uses billions of litres of our water each year to make Dasani and other Coke products. How much water they use remains a mystery as Coke (and the cities where they are established) refuses to release reports on plant water takings to the public.
This petition is intended to pressure the bottling company and it's shareholders to take the public's demand for water taking information seriously. It's power lies in the number of signatures, so please send it around.
Petition for Coca-Cola Enterprises to Produce Annual Water Taking Reports to the Public

Major institutional shareholders and mutual fund holders of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc .
Given that water is a resource necessary to life, and given that the global demand for water is surging while supply is eroding , we, the people of Canada and the United States, petition the CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. to release annual plant water taking reports to the public.
We want to know how much water each Coca-Cola plant takes from the local water supply per Coca-Cola brand each day. We want to know how much Coca-Cola pays for the water it takes by plant. As well, we need to know how Coca-Cola processes and tests water quality at each plant throughout North America.
We call on major institutional shareholders and mutual fund holders with investments in Coca-Cola to support the people in requesting that Coca-Cola produce these reports in good faith.
